There is no question that the world has experienced some major changes over the past few months. We hear discussions all the time about wanting to get back to "normal", or wondering what the "new normal" will be?  And there is no question that life will be different going forward.

The Israelites wanted more than anything to get out of Egypt, yet when they were finally free and headed towards the Promised Land, they saw the Red Sea and all they could think about is going back to Egypt!  Back to Egypt?  The very place they couldn't wait to leave?

Now you and I both know that this seems illogical and unbelievable, but how many times do we do that in our own lives?  How many times do we see a Red Sea in front of us and instead of asking God to change our heart, or give us more faith, or show us a new direction ... we just want to get back to what is comfortable.  All the while God wants to do a new thing (Isaiah 43:19).

The scripture reads, " See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. "

What new thing is God doing in your life? What springs are God bringing forth? How has your faith increased? Do you see the streams in the wasteland? What is God "recalculating" in your life?  

Now is the time.  The time to allow God to "recalculate" who you are in Christ and His purpose and plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11).  Now is the time to seek direction from the only One that will never leave you or forsake you and always guide you in the right direction!
